Network with McDaniel Alumni
The Alumni Career Network, available exclusively through the McDaniel College Career Services Office, is an excellent career information tool.

Over 100 graduates have volunteered to talk to students and share advice about their career fields. You can get advice about the job search process, an insider's perspective on a career field or company, information about internship and volunteer options, and suggestions for things to do while you are still in college to make yourself more marketable and knowledgeable about the world of work. That's just for starters!

The network allows for searches by major, career field, company name, job title, etc. When you find a graduate  you want to contact, simply print out their information and contact them directly. It's that simple.

Always be sure to use your most professional behavior when calling, writing, or talking with these alumni-- they could be your link to your next job or internship!

Sending “Thank You” notes/cards after speaking with our network alumni is highly recommended.

Happy networking!

Credential Files
McDaniel College is committed to helping its students and alumni in their pursuit of professional employment. Preparing and processing an academic credential file is an important element of this effort. Whether you call it a dossier, credential file, or portfolio, McDaniel is making sure you have the best way to manage your credentials!

Career Services now offers an online credential file service through a partnership with Interfolio, an online credentials management service, available to all McDaniel students and alumni. Interfolio is the cheapest and easiest way for a Ph.D. to send academic credentials to a search committee, an undergraduate to send application materials to graduate and professional schools, or a teacher to apply for a teaching position.

Interfolio’s Internet service allows you to build an Internet portfolio – a complete file of all your credentials – where you can store any of your life’s work. You have 24/7 access to your portfolio, from anywhere in the world. Completing your applications will take minutes instead of days and cost less than a trip to a copy store and post office.

It takes just 2 minutes to create an account and begin building your portfolio immediately. Account set-up and maintenenace fees are as low as $15 a year. Click here to sign-up now.
