Need help changing your major? The following steps may be useful to you. We also suggest that you make an appointment with a career counselor. Call 410.871.3305 for help in planning a strategy that fits your situation.
Discover the many career opportunities you can do with your chosen major. For each major listed, this site provides a list of common career areas, typical employers and tips to help you prepare for post-graduate employment.

Our Career Resource Library contains numerous resources to assist you in planning for graduate and professional school, such as the Peterson Guide to Graduate Sschools in the U.S., information about the GRE, CPA, LSAT, MCAT, Praxis, GMAT, and the Miller Analogies, and books that help you create admission essays and personal statements.
You may also meet with a career counselor to help plan your strategies for researching, evaluating, and choosing among various programs of study.
Each Fall and Spring semester Career Services hosts employers looking to interview entry-level candidates for job and internships. Our Companies On Campus program connects you to these employers.
Very often, departments seek to hire students for special projects, seasonal jobs and part-time positions. To view these opportunities, log on to your GTJC account.
