Career Development and Job Search Assistance
Are you seeking a new job or interested in changing careers? Have you decided that now is the time to pursue a graduate or professional degree? Want to network with other McDaniel alumni in a variety of career fields? Don't go it alone...utilize the resources and services available to you through Career Services.
We offer career assessments that can help you learn how your interests, skills, values and personality relate to a new career field. Our graduate school resources and web pages can help you research programs, prepare for exams and compose personal statements and application essays. Our Mock Interview program allows you to bruch up on your interview skills and receive feedback from career professionals.
We have a variety of online resources that can help you explore career fields and what you can do with your degree, search for job opportunities and compose job search documents.
Green Terror Job Connection
Register with our online job database and search for local, regional, and national jobs. You can also receive regular email alerts and announcements from our office informing you of employers coming to campus, new jobs that have been posted, and upcoming job fairs.
Critiquing Services
We can critique your resume, cover letter, curricula vitae, and personal statement via email. Just complete the Get Career Counseling form and send us an email with your document attached in Microsoft Word.

Lunch and Learn Series
Students enjoy hearing from professionals who tell them about how they got started in their career and what's a typical day like at the office. Share your story over lunch. Please contact Career Services at career@mcdaniel.edu or 410.871.3305 to discuss program details in-depth.
Career Dinners
Come share information about your educational and occupational background and what you do on a daily basis at your job with McDaniel students.
Credential Files
Career Services now offers an online credential file service through a partnership with Interfolio, an online credentials management service, available to all McDaniel students and alumni. Interfolio is the cheapest and easiest way for a Ph.D. to send academic credentials to a search committee, an undergraduate to send application materials to graduate and professional schools, or a teacher to apply for a teaching position.
Interfolio’s Internet service allows you to build an Internet portfolio – a complete file of all your credentials – where you can store any of your life’s work. You'll have 24/7 access to your portfolio, from anywhere in the world. Completing your applications will take minutes instead of days and cost less than a trip to a copy store and post office.
